Start out the month of May dancing at the Big Band Brunch. The Six Pence Pub in Parkersburg will host a brunch and dance on Sunday May 1st. Take advantage of great live music to dance to and a home cooked buffet on a Sunday afternoon. You won’t leave hungry! A 30 minute dance lesson will be offered and food will be served at 12:30, the band will play at 1:00.
This Sunday we hope to have a few extra guests for the celebration of Jim Patsey’s retirement from Federal Hocking. Jim is a a regular at the Big Band Brunches, and is usually found on the dance floor with Carrie Harris.
Remember to come early for a dance lesson with Carrie Harris at 12:30. She is offering lessons for $5/person in order to encourage more dancers! This would be a great time for you to introduce a new couple to ballroom.
The Big Band Brunch is this Sunday May 1st from 12:30 -3 pm. You’ll enjoy a great food buffet and live entertainment from the 16 piece band.
