We have been spoiled over the years by the Big Band Dances. They have many musicians that come to play, and many travel from out of town for the event. They will be happy to continue if they know there will be enough dancers to enjoy the evening. So – if you would like to continue to dance to the Big Band, please let them know.

Dear Ballroom Dancers,
> As you probably know, Felice brings in musicians from all over WV, not just Wood County, in order to fill out the Big Band; from Logan, Glenville, Charleston, Clarksburg, Athens OH… We never know if we will have a good turnout, and at least once a season we have a very small group. Because preparation setup is a huge job, we are trying a new idea to help us eliminate the low attendance dances. We ask that you RSVP by email if you will be attending the next dance, to Joyce & Steve when they send out their dance announcement email each month. If you can’t attend the dance, no need to reply. Only if we don’t get enough positive replies, will we cancel that dance and notify you in advance of that dance.
We hope this works well for you and for us! If anyone has ideas to boost attendance, your help would be appreciated.
