We wanted to let you know about an upcoming event that you may enjoy. This is just a “save the date” announcement and we will send full details once the tickets are available.
“Sing and Swing” is a dinner / show / dance sponsored by the Meigs Performing Arts Committee. It is a fundraiser to benefit a new center for the performing arts being planned for Meigs County. Members of our local theater group, The River City Players, will provide the musical entertainment and would like those attending to dance. There are a total of 25 numbers including music from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. They are mostly swing and fox trot with a couple of waltz numbers and a little Latin stuff too.
There will be two shows – Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10 – and will be held at the Farmers Bank Community Room in Pomeroy. This is a lovely space overlooking the Ohio River.
