The River Cities Dance Club is preparing for another fun season of dancing! We have six dances planned for 2016-2017, but final dance will be contingent on membership numbers. We are doing three different venues this year and the location is listed for each of the schedules dances below.
October 8, 2016: Scott Kitchen’s Trio at Our Lady of Mercy Hall Lowell, Ohio
Nov 5, 2016: Gary Stewart Quintet at Ewing School Marietta Ohio
Dec 3, 2016: Warren Brothers Combo at Wayside UMC Vienna WV
Feb 18, 2017: 5th Street Quartet at Ewing School Marietta Ohio
March 25, 2017: Scott Kitchen’s Big Band at Wayside UMC Vienna WV
May 20, 2017: Fifth Street Quartet at Our Lady of Mercy Hall Lowell Ohio
The dance time is still 8 -11:00 pm and we continue our longtime tradition of formal dress at our dances, with the gentlemen sporting tuxedos or dark suits and the ladies in formal gowns or cocktail dresses. With our change to these new venues we are not required to buy catered food, so the membership voted to bring our own snacks to share and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during the dances.
If you have not renewed your membership or know of other prospective members, the yearly membership package is still just $200/year per couple and includes all the dances. The single dance price is $60/couple.
