The Big Band Dance has moved to the Lubeck Community Center and Sunday October 5t will be the first dance of the season.
What: Doug Hess Big Band
When: October 5, 2014, Sunday from 1 to 3 pm
Dress: Dressy casual
Cost: $25 per couple or $12.50 per single
Food: Bottled water and pop available for $1.00. An alcohol-free event.
Where: At Lubeck Community Center; from downtown Parkersburg follow US 50 WEST toward Lubeck. Take Route 68 exit and turn left. Go 2.4 miles, turn left onto Lubeck Road at the square dancing sign. Go 0.275 miles, passing Lubeck Elementary on the right. At the end of the school you will see Lubeck Community Center on your left.
The Lubeck Community Center has a wonderful wood dance floor, the size of a basketball court. Dances will be the first Sunday of the month through 2015, 1-3 pm. Only 2 exceptions are Novembers: Sunday, Nov 9, 2014, 1-3 pm; and SATURDAY Nov 14, 2015, 7:30-10 pm.
