Tempo Club members were delighted with a new location as they opened the 2011 – 2012 season on Saturday, October 1. The auditorium of the Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna features a spacious and smooth wood floor and an elevated stage, from which the Gary Stewart Quintet provided a wide variety of music for dancing. Club members and guests from the mid-Ohio and Kanawha valleys danced to American standard and Latin tunes along with an upbeat polka and the electric slide. Time: 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
Dues: $200/year (includes 5-6 dances)
Refreshments: Members are invited to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. No smoking or alcohol is allowed.
Dress: Semi-Formal dress – jacket and tie for the gentlemen and a cocktail dress for the lady.
Visitors: Couples may attend any number of dances for a charge of $50/couple per dance. A couple may attend one dance as a guest of a current member for a discounted admission of $40.
